Colletts Pharmacy is fortunate to have the services of highly qualified and experienced nursing sisters to run the pharmacy clinic.
The clinic offers a vaccination service where all the prescribed children’s vaccines are administered. Previously, we also administered, to all children in the community, the prescribed State vaccines at no charge. This has however been stopped by the Amahlathi District Local Service Agency. We have negotiated with them unsuccessfully to re-introduce the service, but without success. However, we will not stop our efforts.
The clinic runs from 10h00-13h00 and 14h00-16h00 on Monday to Thursday and on Fridays from 08h00- 13h00 and 14h00-16h00. The later start from Monday to Thursday is because our sisters attends to the staff Anca Foods, as well as Boardman Brothers factory, a service that we have been offering for some years now.
Our services include the administration of injections, changing of, and application of wound dressings, treatment of minor ailments and problems. Blood Pressure, Cholesterol and Glucose screening is also offered in the Clinic. In addition, our nurses do home visits when requested, in order that we can ensure that follow up treatment is successful!
We look forward to a visit from you with your young treasure – let’s see if you agree that the only thing that is old fashioned about us, is the service!
